Bobby Boy Bakeshop is the place to go for ‘Instagram-worthy’ baked goods because everything is a work of art! Customers can’t stop talking about their twice-baked almond croissants – a baked almond croissant that is split in half and filled with almond cream and then baked again. Their iced coffee comes with coffee ice cubes so that your coffee doesn’t get watered down as the ice melts. Genius idea! They also offer sandwiches and are located next to a wine bar. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, but they do not have wifi, so don’t head there for your next work session…maybe that’s a good thing because you would keep going back all day for more treats!
Louie & Honey
A mother/daughter bakery cafe offering sweet and savory pies and desserts in historic West End. They specialize in nostalgic cakes and pies reminiscent of their grandmother’s table, with modern twists influenced by European food trends. You even feel like you are in a small European town when you enter their store. It is full of natural light, adorable decor, and charming cafe tables. Everything in their kitchen is made from scratch, using organic North Carolina milled flour. You must try their Amish Cinnamon Rolls! Other popular items include their Vanilla Bean Rice Krispies and Rosemary Cheddar Scones. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu!

With three locations, Camino Bakery is a local favorite. They serve handmade pastries, bread, sandwiches, and desserts. Some favorites are their Everything Swiss Croissant, Spinach Artichoke Croissant, and Fruit Danishes. They have seasonal menus (both drinks and baked goods) so there is always something new to try.
Humblebee Bake Shop
The Humble Bee Shoppe, located in West End, is a quaint little bakery where everything is made from scratch. The owner says that this bakery is an extension of her heart and you can tell because each baked good is seasoned with love. Plant-based and flourless options are always included on their menu because it’s important to her that she has an opportunity to share moments of happiness with everyone despite dietary restrictions. Some of their most popular items included their Macarons, Cookie Sammies, the Jalapeno Cheddar Muffin that comes with Texas Pete honey, and their plant-based Oatmeal Cream Pies. They have a few chairs for outside seating, but this is more of a grab n’ go spot!

Maddie’s Cakes is a local bakery and coffee shop in Bermuda Run. They make freshly made goodies range from cookies, cupcakes, and cheesecakes to wedding cakes and special event cakes! The owner, Maddie, grew up in Davie County and loves sharing her passion with her hometown. Her vision for the bakery can be seen right when you walk in. There is a large seating area where you can watch the bakers prepare the sweet treats. Their most popular item is their Swiss Chocolate Cake!

To Your Health Bakery was born as a need the owner encountered years ago. Her younger brother was born with many food allergies and she dedicated herself to cooking for him. What started as a love for her brother, has grown into a business where she can love on others with food allergies. If you have any allergies (Soy, Gluten Dairy, etc) you must go here.
