Local Winston-Salem Bakery Specializes in Allergen-Free Treats

Anna Simeonides is the founder and owner of To Your Health Bakery, a local Winston-Salem bakery specializing in allergen-free treats everyone can enjoy!
Anna was baking as early as age six, but her culinary journey truly began when her family realized her younger brother had various food allergies. Anna taught herself how to cook for him and make allergen-free food.
That experience inspired her to begin baking for people who suffered from food allergies like her brother. Her passion for baking grew while she was in college, and in 2015, she dropped out to begin To Your Health Bakery. In 2017, she opened a storefront on Creekshire Way, where she has been serving delicious baked goods to the community ever since.
To Your Health Bakery is a gluten- and peanut-free facility that has a variety of allergen-free, vegan, keto, and paleo items. Some of the sweet treats include 50+ flavors of cakes, gourmet donuts, cookies, pies, muffins, and much more!
The bakery also offers flour, cake, cookie, and bread mixes free of the top 8 allergens.
Anna has participated in several competitions during her culinary career.
In 2019, she competed in Hallmark Channel’s “Christmas Cookie Matchup,” making it as far as the semi-finals. In 2023, she won Christmas Inc. Magazine’s Ultimate Baker contest and appeared on the cover of its Valentine’s Day issue.
In March, Anna will be featured on Food Network’s “Spring Baking Championship.” The competition will have her face off against 11 other pastry chefs for the grand prize of $25,000. If she wins, Anna said she would like to open up a Greek/European cafe so that she can embrace her family’s culinary roots by making Greek pastries like baklava.
