Thursday, October 23

  • Halloween Bingo – Costumes, bingo, and barbecue! Join the Junior League of Winston-Salem for an exciting evening at The Nash, with dinner provided by Honky Tonk Smokehouse. 6-9 PM
  • The Partypooper Show – Join Bookmarks at First Baptist Church to celebrate the 20th “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” book — this interactive event will be hosted by author Jeff Kinney! 6:30 PM
  • Cooking Demo – Trying to eat healthy, but don’t know where to start? Join Second Harvest Food Bank for a cooking demonstration and a discussion about the benefits of healthy eating! 12 PM

  • Movie Night – It’s the final Innovation & Cinema screening of the year! Watch Beyoncé and Jennifer Hudson in “Dreamgirls” at Bailey Park. Movie starts at dark.

    • NCANA Run for Joy 5K – Run at Jamison Park starting at 9 AM. Proceeds go to a scholarship for counseling for medical trainees at Wake Forest School of Medicine.

  • Improv Workshop – Step outside your comfort zone and learn improv comedy at Reynolds Place Theatre! Open to all skill levels. 3 PM
  • Youth Maker Market – Shop from local youth makers at downtown Incendiary Brewing! Costumes encouraged — some vendors will be passing out candy. 12-3 PM
  • Great American Songwriters – Listen to Clay Mottley perform music by James Taylor and Billy Joel at Hanesbrands Theatre! 6:30 PM
