- Used Book Sale – Find your next great read(s) at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds! Proceeds benefit The Shepherd’s Center. Runs through Saturday.

Friday, May 2
- National Tennis Month Kickoff – Join Winston-Salem Tennis, Inc. at Ski & Tennis Station for mini RedBall tennis matches, raffles, and registration info for upcoming tennis events. 5:30-7 PM
- Opening Night – Watch Stained Glass Playhouse’s production of “Picnic.” Runs through May 18.
- Noche Cubana – Learn to dance the salsa rueda with the Vecino Center at Bar La Ch.ngada, followed by a night of open dance! 6:30 PM – 12 AM
- Lakeside Concert – Listen to Sir Woman and Isaia Huron perform at NCMA Winston-Salem! 7 PM
- Electronics Donation Drive – Drop off your old cell phones, computers, and tablets at Goodwill on Peters Creek Parkway. 10 AM – 6 PM

- Pups & Popsicles – Head to Tanglewood Park for K9 demos and popsicles with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office. 11 AM – 2 PM
- Goat Yoga – Practice yoga with adorable goats at Red Hound Farms! Class led by Breathe Yoga Studio. 11 AM
- FUSE Makers Market – Shop from 50 makers, make your own art, and enjoy live music and delicious food at NCMA Winston-Salem. 10 AM – 5 PM
- Sneaker Ball – This is the one gala where you get to wear sneakers! Enjoy dancing, dinner & drinks, and bidding on auction items—all in support of United Way of Forsyth County. 6:30 PM
- Dram & Draught Derby Party – Sip on mint juleps and compete in a best hat & best dressed competition at Dram & Draught! 3-8 PM
- Peter and The Wolf – Take the kids to see this charming fable brought to life by the Winston-Salem Symphony at the Scale Fine Arts Center. 11 AM
- Cardboard Boat Regatta – Watch competitors race across Winston Lake in boats made out of cardboard and duct tape! 10 AM
- Vintage Market – Shop for vintage clothing from 20 vendors at Wise Man Brewing. 12-7 PM
- Turntable Night – Listen to DJ Fleet spin vinyl records at The Caviste! 6-9 PM
- Cinco de Mayo @ Wise Man – Celebrate at Wise Man Brewing with live music and food trucks! Runs through Sunday.
- Gardenmore – Visit three local gardens in Ardmore to pick up great tips and inspiration for your home garden! 9 AM – 12 PM
- Playground Derby Party – Head to The Playground for stick horse races, mint juleps, and best-dressed contests. Activities start at 6 PM.
