- Language Exchange – Tour the art galleries at SECCA with the Vecino Center and practice talking about the art in both Spanish and English. 6 PM
- Storytime & Yoga – Bring your kids to Kaleideum for storytime, yoga exercises, and a special fluffy guest. 11 AM
- Book Launch – Brenda Fulmore, one of the former leaders of Creative Corridors Coalition, appears at The Bookhouse for the launch of her new book, Bridges Connect Communities. 6 PM
Friday, June 28
- 1Love Festival – Celebrate African diasporic culture and history through music, art, entrepreneurship, and more! The festival takes place at multiple venues and runs through Saturday.
- Rock Out The Quarry – Celebrate summer with live music, food trucks, and a fireworks show at The Quarry at Grant Park. Note: Attendees must park at Bowman Gray Stadium; free shuttles will run between the stadium and the park. 7-10 PM
- Drive-In Movie – Watch Jurassic Park at Davie County Community Park. Concessions onsite. Movie starts at dusk.
- House Hangs – Hang out at SECCA and make new friends! Enjoy music from DJ Stacy Sprinklez and a dinner prepared by The Southern Noodle and Y’all Supper Club. 5-8 PM
- Pickleball – Want to improve your pickleball skills or meet fellow pickleball enthusiasts? Head to Oak Summit Park for open play every Friday! 9 AM – 12 PM

- Independence Day Concert – Celebrate July 4th at Shallowford Square with live music from Jim Quick & Coastline. Brought to you by the American Legion Post 522. 7 PM
- Latin Dance – Take a beginner salsa class with SonCaribe Latin Dancing at Incendiary Brewing’s Winston-Salem location! Stay afterward for social dancing with a live DJ. 5-9 PM
- Little Innovators – Let your preschooler discover the wonder of STEAM learning with interdisciplinary and hands-on activities at Kaleideum. 11:30 AM
- Concert – Kem, Billboard’s 2x Top Adult Male R&B Artist, performs with Envision at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Arena. 7:30 PM
- Storytime – Bring the kids to Bookmarks for a read-aloud, a meet & greet with Elephant and Piggie, and a voting activity where kids learn about the voting process. 10:30 AM
- Children’s Parade – A parade at Kernersville’s town hall courtyard for children 6 and under! Activities will include a YMCA bounce house, yard games, and free ice cream for the kids. 10 AM
- Free Symphony – A quartet of Winston-Salem Symphony musicians perform rock and pop favorites at the Coal Pit in Innovation Quarter. 7 PM
- Outdoor Movie – East of Texas hosts a free screening of Nacho Libre, complete with a nacho special. All proceeds from the special will benefit the Winston-Salem Street School. 8:45 PM
- Juneteenth Celebration – June isn’t over yet! Celebrate Juneteenth at the Masonic Picnic Grounds with food trucks, music, vendors, and inflatables + train rides for the kids. 12-6 PM
- Baseball – The Dash takes on the Rome Emperors at Truist Stadium this weekend. Enjoy fireworks after the game and come back to celebrate Bolt’s birthday at Sunday’s game!
- Yoga & Flowers – Practice yoga with the owner of High Point Yoga School and create your own bouquet at Stauber Farm. 10 AM
- Afrobeats Zumbathon – Take a Zumba class at 690 Women’s Fitness! All proceeds benefit JOS Children’s School, which serves students with special needs in Ghana. Sessions at 11 AM and 12:30 PM.
