Thursday, July 4 (Independence Day)

  • Dash Baseball – Watch the Dash play the Hickory Crawdads in a 4th of July-themed game at Truist Stadium, complete with a post-game fireworks show. 7 PM
  • Kernersville Fireworks – Enjoy an evening of music with Special Occasion Band, food & fireworks at Kernersville Elementary School’s Raiders Field. 5-9:30 PM
  • Stars & Stripes Concert – Listen to Salem Band perform a patriotic-themed outdoor concert in Old Salem! Food vendors onsite. 7:30 PM
  • Dinner & Show – Sing along to patriotic favorites as the Greensboro Opera performs at Rayson Vineyards. Dining and wine tasting are available. 5-8 PM
  • 4th of July Service – Join Home Moravian Church for Moravian music, an invocation, and a reading of the Declaration of Independence at Salem Square in Old Salem. 8 AM
  • Hot Dog Contest – Celebrate the 4th of July with drink specials and a hot dog eating contest at Earl’s. 3 PM
  • 4th of July 5K – Run or walk in The Rotary Club of Kernersville’s annual race. 7:30 AM
  • Wise Man Weekend – Enjoy extended hours, live music, food trucks, cornhole matches, and more at Wise Man Brewing. Runs through Sunday.
  • Potluck Picnic – Bring a dish and gather with your neighbors at Miller Park for live music, games, face painting, and more. 12 PM
  • 4th of July Parade – Watch Kernersville’s traditional 4th of July parade starting at Kernersville Elementary School. 9 AM
  • Disco Turkey Baseball – Watch the Disco Turkeys play the Uwharrie Wampus Cats at Couch Ballpark. Stick around for the post-game fireworks show! 6:30 PM

 

Friday, July 5

  • Kids Night Out – Drop off the kids at Kaleideum for a night of museum exploration, crafts, activities, and pizza + snacks. For children K-6. 5:30-8:30 PM
  • Camel City Shake – Head to The Ramkat for two days of live music, featuring six music groups! Concludes Saturday.
  • Dash Baseball – Watch the Dash play the Hickory Crawdads in a Marvel-inspired game. Stick around for a post-game fireworks show! 7 PM
  • Laser Show – The Pink Floyd laser experience returns to Kaleideum along with the brand new AC/DC vs. Guns N’ Roses laser show! Pink Floyd at 8:45 PM and AC/DC vs. Guns ‘N Roses at 10 PM.

 

Saturday, July 6

  • Musical Parody – Theatre Alliance presents Jurassic Park: The Musical 3D, filled with singing, dinosaurs, and mayhem. What more could you need? Performances run through July 14.
  • Parade & Fireworks – Bring your family to downtown Yadkinville for a 4th of July parade, live music, and bounce houses. Head to Yadkinville Elementary School after the parade for a fireworks display! 5-9 PM
  • Repticon – Don’t miss this reptile and exotic animal convention at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds! Tickets only available online. Runs through Sunday.
  • Ready Set Radio – Head to ROAR’s rooftop for the Ready Set Radio Show, featuring a live DJ and band playing radio hits from all decades and genres. 8 PM
  • Independence Celebration – Celebrate the 4th with live music, food trucks, and a huge fireworks display at Davie County Community Park Amphitheater. 7-11 PM
  • Blueberry Day – Head to Apple Family Farm for live music by Anna Mertson, kids activities, vendors, and – of course – blueberry picking! 9 AM – 3 PM
  • Dash Baseball – Watch the Dash play the Hickory Crawdads on Bump and Run Night. Stick around for a post-game fireworks show! 7 PM

 

Sunday, July 7

  • Cocktail Class – Join Easytalk at the bar to learn about the interwoven histories of the United States and cocktails. 4 PM
  • Music Performance – Listen to The Winston-Salem Community Band perform a free patriotic concert at Miller Park Amphitheater. 6:30 PM
  • Summer MarketCulture’s outdoor market has been rescheduled from last week. Shop from artists and crafters while enjoying live music at Liberty Plaza. 2-6 PM
