- Baseball Games – Spend Father’s Day Weekend with the Dash as they face their cross-town rivals, the Greensboro Grasshoppers. Enjoy fireworks, Little League night, and other special promotions. Thursday – Sunday!
- Pottery Sale – Sawtooth’s annual “Not Quite Perfect Pottery Sale” features imperfect pieces donated by students and instructors. Find a unique piece at The Intergenerational Center for Arts and Wellness. 4-7 PM
- Musical – The Kernersville Little Theatre presents Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at Kernersville Elementary School. Performances run through June 23.
- Intern Experience – Are you a college intern at a local business? You’re invited to Wake Forest Biotech Place to network, collaborate, and learn about Winston-Salem. Our founder, Christy Bellis, will speak at the event! 4 PM
- Open Mic Night – The Winston-Salem Writers hosts an open mic night at The Bookhouse! Share your original work with fellow writers. 6:45 PM
Friday, June 14
- Fundraiser Party – Join The American Cancer Society at Legacy Stables for the inaugural Traid Red, White, & Blue Party! The event includes live music, hors d’oeuvres, a raffle, and a silent auction. 7 PM
- Behind the Scenes – Discover rooms at the Reynolda House not usually open to the public during this unique tour. 1 PM
- Noche de Arte – Enjoy a paint & sip party at The Intergenerational Center benefitting the Hispanic League Scholarship Program. This is a bilingual activity! 6 PM
- Lyrics by the Lake – Get immersed in art at SECCA with musical performances, spoken word poetry, comedy, live painting, and a vendor’s market. 6-9 PM
- Outdoor Movie – Bring a lawn chair or blanket to watch White Men Can’t Jump in MUSE Winston-Salem’s parking lot. Rated R. Food trucks onsite. Movie starts at dusk.
- Fitness Friday – Work up a sweat with a free F45 training session at the Coal Pit. 5:30 PM
Saturday, June 15
- Juneteenth Jubilee – Celebrate Juneteenth with musical performances, art experiences, raffles, and food vendors at SECCA. 6-10 PM
- The Climb – Raise awareness for postpartum mental health at Jack Warren Park. Shop from local vendors, join Fit4Mom for a stroller stretch, and take a group walk around the park. 9-11 AM
- Outdoor Movie – Watch E.T. at Parkland Park! There will be games, giveaways, and food trucks onsite. Pre-movie activities start at 7 PM, movie starts at dusk.
- Taylor Swift – The Listeso String Quartet performs hits from Taylor Swift under the glow of candlelight at Gerald Freedman Theater. Performances at 6:30 PM and 8:45 PM.
- Chili Cook-Off – Do you have an incredible chili recipe? Enter it into East of Texas’s contest to potentially win a $250 gift card! Note that there will not be a public tasting. 3 PM
- Juneteenth Festival – Triad Cultural Arts brings its 25th annual festival to Innovation Quarter, including family activities, a vendor market, food trucks, live music, and more! 1-8 PM
- Water Tower Market – Don’t just shop at Radar Brewing Company’s market – come dressed in your favorite decade outfit for an all-day dance party + costume contest! 1-8 PM
- Sneaker Ball – Ditch the dress shoes for comfortable sneakers and dance the night away at Winston-Salem State University. Proceeds from the event benefit United Way of Forsyth County. 7-11 PM
- Cake Decorating – Make an adorable axolotl-themed cake at The Canvas Cake Studio. All skill levels welcome! 2 PM
- Birthday – Moji Coffee + More is turning 5 years old! Head to AFAS Art Park to celebrate the coffee shop and its mission to provide job and life skills training to individuals with different abilities. 12-4 PM
- Summer Fest – Visit Smith Hollow Farm to enjoy the flower field, visit with animals, take a hayride, launch apples, and so much more. Also available June 22, 29, and July 13. 11 AM – 4 PM.
- Family Day – Explore Körner’s Folly, a unique historic house museum! Meet baby goats, participate in an art activity, and play historic yard games out on the lawn. 10 AM – 4 PM

- Outdoor Concert – As part of the Summer On Fourth concert series, West End Mambo performs in front of Foothills Tasting Room! 7-10 PM

- Freedom Celebration – Honor the history of African Americans through an open house at Lexington Public Library, a celebration service at St. Stephen United Methodist Church, and an open dialogue on local Black neighborhoods. Events take place through Monday.
Sunday, June 16
- Father’s Day Brunch – Treat Dad to brunch at Childress Vineyards! The brunch menu features father favorites like the Ultimate BLT, Smoked Brisket Steamed Buns, and more. Reservations available from 10 AM – 4 PM.
- Cocktail Class – Join Easytalk at the bar and learn to make “dad drinks” – Old Fashioneds, Manhattans, and Martinis – with a twist. 4 PM
- Father’s Day Luau – Head to Foothills Tasting Room for a Hawaiian shirt contest, dad & kid obstacle relay race, and other fun activities! 12-6 PM
- Pride Brunch – The Rosemary Room in Vintage Sofa Bar hosts a 21+ Pride event. Showings at 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM.
- Wise Man Father’s Day – Live music from Red Umber, a cornhole tournament, a cigar vendor, and more – all happening at Wise Man Brewing. 12-8 PM
- Juneteenth Brunch – Enjoy a delicious brunch at Sweet Potatoes Restaurant! The menu features sausage gravy over a sweet potato biscuit, fried chicken, and more. 12:30-5 PM
