• Bookmarks Festival – The largest (free) book festival in the Carolinas returns to downtown WS! Get books signed by 45+ authors, attend panels, and shop 100+ local vendors. 10 AM – 5 PM
• Apple Festival – Celebrate the start of fall with 18th-century craftsmen demos, games, arts & crafts, and plenty of apples at Historic Bethabara Park. 10 AM – 4 PM
• Piedmont Pops – Tap your feet to ragtime and early Americana as the Piedmont Wind Symphony performs at Incendiary Brewing Lewisville. 2 PM
• Speed Friending – Meet new people through quick, low-pressure conversations hosted by Mac & Cheese Productions. 6 PM
• Temp Tattoo DIY – Create natural temporary tattoos in this hands-on workshop led by Buena Henna at The Open Studio. 4 PM
• Miles for Maternal Mental Health – Walk, jog, or run at Jamison Park to support the Postpartum Resource Center of the Triad’s mental health resources for new and expecting parents. 9 AM
• Stein-Holding – Compete in Foothill Tasting Room’s annual Oktoberfest contest; men, women, and kids will compete in separate rounds!

• Candle Workshop – Create a custom soy candle with Lizzie’s All Natural Products at The Dutch Light. Try one of the bar’s fall cocktails! 3 PM
• Frozen Fun – Take the kids to Kaleideum’s new Ice Venture exhibit for frosty crafts, a museum-wide snowball fight, and a visit from their favorite “Frozen” characters. 1-4:30 PM
