This local BBQ spot is known for its brisket, but have you tried their smoked chicken wings yet? Their wings are thick and full of that smoky taste running deep into the center of its meat and then finished off with your choice of glazed flavors such as barbeque, hot, or sweet chili Thai.  Make sure to accompany it with some cheese fries and ranch on the side, and that my friends is perfection. 

Honky Tonk Smokehouse

Honky Tonk is a small locally owned BBQ spot offering a variety of smoked meats and southern traditional style sides. Their chicken wings are seasoned and smoked for several hours over hickory wood, and yes their chicken wings really do fall off the bone.

J and J Food Mart

If you live in Winston-Salem and know the south side well, then you know this spot is for good its chicken wing special. For our outsiders or first-timers, you’ll think “chicken wings, at a convenience store?” Yup! J and J offers takeout only, but you will enjoy fresh, crispy, and affordable chicken wings that come with thick wedges, a drink, and 2 sauces to choose from.  

Mossy’s

If you know your way around Clemmons, then you know this local spot. Mossy’s is a popular sports bar with several TVs to watch any game with your favorite beer on tap. Enjoy a great atmosphere and staff and some delicious traditional wings. Some of their popular flavors include lemon pepper, teriyaki, honey BBQ, hot & honey, and chipotle. Their wings come served with crunchy fresh celery and a choice of bleu cheese or ranch on the side.
