What is Winston-Salem Fashion Week?
Winston-Salem Fashion Week (WSFW) is a platform for those working in and breaking into the fashion industry. In the past, WSFW has featured designers from the Triad, its surrounding cities, and even New York, Atlanta, and Washington, DC.
Background of Winston-Salem Fashion Week
Founder Nikita Wallace started WSFW as her senior thesis project at Salem College in 2015. The college hosted the first WSFW over two days with 500 total attendees. (Yes! Weekly) Nowadays, WSFW welcomes 200-300 attendees for each runway show. This year’s event features 16 designers and over 100 models!
