Saturday, July 4
- America’s Birthday Bash – Take the kids to Kaleideum for painting, a bike parade, drone demonstrations, and sensory-friendly fireworks! 11 AM – 4:30 PM
- Hot Dog Eating Contest – Cheer on the competitors and enjoy $2 hot dogs all day at Earl’s. 4 PM
- Free Concert – Salem Band performs “Stars & Stripes Forever” and other patriotic favorites in Salem Square. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. 7:30 PM
- Walking Tour – Celebrate 250 years of America by exploring Winston-Salem’s history with MUSE WS. Additional tour on Sunday.
- Tiki Talk – Cookout, kiddie pools, and cocktails — join easytalk for a casual 4th of July party. 12-6 PM
- Hot Dogs for Dogs –Â Feast on hot dogs or veggie dogs at Fiddlin’ Fish, with all proceeds benefiting Forsyth Humane Society. 12:30-4:30 PM
- 5K Run – Race in the Rotary Club of Kernersville’s annual run at 211 Broad Street in Kernersville. 8 AM
- 4th of July Parade – Grab a spot on Mountain Street and watch the festivities roll by. Want to be in the parade? Head to Kernersville Elementary before 8:30 AM — no sign-up required. 9 AM
- Old Salem – Step back in time at Old Salem for Declaration of Independence readings, bucket brigade fire drills, historic games, and live music. Activities throughout the day.
- Red, White & Breathe – Dance to hits from every decade at Breathe Cocktail Lounge. Step outside at dusk to catch Kernersville’s fireworks! 5 PM – 2 AM
- Potluck Picnic – Bring a dish and join the neighborhood at Miller Park for games, live music, and a kids’ art activity. 12 PM

- Mocksville – Head to Davie County Community Park for live music, food trucks, and a fireworks show. 6:30-10:30 PM
- Yadkinville – Parade in the morning, fireworks at night, and a full day of vendors and food trucks in downtown Yadkinville. 10 AM – 10 PM
Sunday, July 5
- Piedmont Pops – The Piedmont Wind Symphony brings iconic American music to Incendiary Brewing for free! 7:30 PM
- Farmers Market – Stock up on fresh fruit and veggies, baked goods, and more from local producers on Trade Street. 10 AM – 2 PM
- Free Cocktail Class – Learn to make different styles of mules at easytalk. No reservations required — arrive early to claim a seat. 4 PM
