- Hockey Match – Cheer on the Twin City Thunderbirds as they play the Pee Dee IceCats in the season opener at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Arena. 7:35 PM
- Line Dancing – Join Chaos Crew Line Dancing at Radar Brewing for a free beginner class followed by open dancing! 7 PM

- Ardmore RAH! – Run through Ardmore to support Second Harvest Food Bank! Races start at Redeemer Presbyterian Church from 8-9:15 AM.
- Day of the Dead – Join Fiddlin’ Fish for face painting, vendors, a tie-dye station, and live bands — including the Grateful Dead tribute band, Cosmic Charlie! 2-11 PM
- Homecoming Parade – Go Rams! Cheer on WSSU’s Red Sea of Sound as the parade rolls down Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. 10 AM – 1 PM
- Pumpkin DIY – Decorate pumpkins using dried flowers at My Garden Blooms! 2 PM
- Joytoberfest – Celebrate Oktoberfest at Joymongers Barrel Hall with a vintage clothing market, games, and live music! 12-11 PM
- Pumpkin Patch – Take the kids on an adventure at Reynolda! Go on a hayride through the meadow and pick a pumpkin to decorate. 10:30 AM
- Shred Event – Safely dispose of your documents at New Philadelphia Moravian Church. 9 AM – 12 PM
- House Tours – Explore 30+ newly constructed homes across Winston-Salem and surrounding areas during the Fall Parade of Homes. Tours also available on Sunday. 1-5 PM

- Halloween Spooktacular – Listen to the Winston-Salem Symphony play music from Harry Potter, Star Wars, Wicked, and more at the Scale Fine Arts Center. Costumes encouraged! 3 PM
- Monster Dash & Goblin Hop – Bring your little goblins to Village Point Greenway in Clemmons for trick-or-treating, activities, and giveaways! 2-4 PM
- Running Scared 5K/13K – Wear your Halloween costume to this terrifying race at Jamison Park! First race at 2 PM.
- Yoga at the Winery – Unwind with a yoga class at Medaloni Cellars! 11 AM
- Fall Market – Start your holiday shopping early and find unique gifts from 35 local makers at the Coalpit! 12-4 PM
- CROP Hunger Walk – Fight against hunger by joining fellow walkers at Corpening Plaza and raising funds for local and global nonprofits. 2:30 PM
- Anniversary – Celebrate the Historic Nissen House’s first anniversary with hands-on activities, storytelling, and demonstrations. 2 PM
