Thursday, May 21

  • Evening in the Atrium – A taste of live music. Listen to singer-songwriter Gregg Cagno perform while enjoying free desserts by Cafe Gelato and INTI House at 500 W 5th! 5-7 PM
  • Yoga Flow – Start your morning right with an all-levels class at Oasis at the Mill. 9 AM
  • Vinyl Night – Bring your favorite vinyl to Brouwerij DuBois and connect with fellow music enthusiasts. 5-8 PM
  • Book Talk – Frank V. Tursi visits MUSE Winston-Salem to discuss and sign his new book, “Tar Heel Boys of Summer” — a look at North Carolinians who made it to the big leagues. Free to attend; registration required. 6:30 PM
  • Baseball – The Hickory Crawdads and Charleston RiverDogs play at Truist Stadium this week! Daily games through Sunday.

 

Friday, May 22

  • Gears & Guitars – Watch high-speed cycling races and jam out at free concerts in downtown Winston-Salem. Runs through Saturday.
  • Concert – Country artists Chris Janson and Easton Corbin take the stage at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds! 7:30 PM
  • Bonsai Workshop – Learn the art of bonsai at Coffee Park Airstream and take home your very own tree. 6 PM
  • Dueling Pianos – You request it, they play it. Blazing Keys Dueling Pianos performs at Old Homeplace Vineyard! 7 PM
  • BaseballOpening night! Watch the Carlina Disco Turkeys take on the Uwharrie Wampus Cats at Couch Ballpark. 6:30 PM
  • Mixed Up May – Start your weekend with Guitar Hero competitions, a KPop dance party, and “KPop Demon Hunters” at Kaleideum! 5-9:30 PM

 

Saturday, May 23

  • Board Gaming – Shop for games, compete in play-to-win tournaments, or play your own games with friends in Kernersville! Runs through Monday.
  • Pig Pickin’ – It doesn’t get more Southern than slow-roasted BBQ and Lowcountry boil. Gather for a communal meal at Körner’s Folly! Registration required. 12-3 PM
  • Tea & Bloom Bar – Create a unique floral tea blend and peony bouquet at My Garden Blooms. 2 PM
  • Freedom Day – Commemorate Salem’s enslaved residents learning of their freedom with guided walking tours and a hands-on brick-making demo at St. Phillips Moravian Church. 10 AM – 4 PM
  • Serb Fest – Dig into Serbian delicacies, watch traditional dances, play bocce and cornhole, and tour St. Basil of Ostrog Serbian Orthodox Church! Runs through Sunday.
  • Luau Party – Grab your Hawaiian shirt and welcome in summer with cocktail specials at Bamboo Lounge. 3-8 PM
  • Soccer – The Salem City Beasts are back! Cheer them on as they play Appalachian FC at Reynolds Stadium. 7 PM
  • Line Dancing – Grab your boots and learn to line dance for free at Wise Man Brewing (5 PM) or East of Texas (8 PM)!
  • Opening Day – Shop fresh produce, baked goods, florals, and more at the Kernersville Farmers Market! 8 AM – 12 PM

 

Sunday, May 24

  • Food Truck Festival – Come hungry. Try bites from 20+ food trucks and shop locally-made goods at Mixxer’s Maker Market! 1-7 PM
  • Free Ride – Join the RideUnited community for an indoor cycling ride set to high-energy music! All levels welcome. 10:30 AM
  • Sunday Funday – Bounce houses, games, ice cream specials, and wine sales at Buie’s Market! 1-4 PM
  • Live Music – Nick Branscome and The BPM perform at Incendiary Brewing Lewisville! It’s the perfect place to take the whole family. 2 PM
  • Semiquincentennial Stroll – Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary on a walking tour through Winston-Salem’s history with MUSE Winston-Salem! 2 PM

 

Monday, May 25 (Memorial Day)

  • Tiki Talk – Hot dogs, kiddie pools, and cocktails from a special guest bartender — easytalk is kicking off summer in style. 3-8 PM
  • Memorial Day Ceremony – Honor our fallen soldiers with a presentation of colors, wreath laying, and a special speaker at The Carolina Field of Honor. 11 AM
  • Military Appreciation Concert – Presentation of colors, food trucks, and beach music by The Embers featuring Craig Woolard at Shallowford Square. 6 PM
