Thursday, September 4
- ConvergeSouth – Head to Biotech Place for Flywheel’s biggest event of the year, featuring a startup expo with 75 exhibiting companies, keynote presentations, and 1-on-1 investor meetings. Runs through Friday.
- Trivia Night – Gather your crew—in honor of the upcoming Face to Face Speaker Forum, MUSE Winston-Salem is hosting an Earvin “Magic” Johnson-themed trivia night at Radar Brewing! 7 PM
- Mediterranean Night – Enjoy a Mediterranean dinner prepared by Chef Peter Bedrosian at The Caviste. Seatings between 6 and 7 PM.
- Glass Act – Learn how to mix, muddle, and garnish cocktails in this hands-on class at The Dutch Light! Includes two cocktails. 7 PM
- Free Yoga – Take a deep breath. Join 2B Academy for an outdoor yoga session at Bailey Park. 6 PM Update: Due to weather, the event has been moved inside Bailey Power Plant, Room 331.
Friday, September 5
- Forsyth Gem, Mineral, Fossil & Jewelry Show – Discover custom jewelry, watch artisan demonstrations, and browse lapidary tools at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Event Center. Runs through Sunday.
- Opening Night – Watch 5 actors take on 40+ roles in The Little Theatre of Winston-Salem’s production of “Moriarty” at Hanesbrands Theatre! Runs through September 14.
- Disney Night – Create a magical Disney-themed painting and compete in Disney trivia at Wine & Design! 7 PM
- Outdoor Movie – Speaking of Disney, watch “The Princess and the Frog” at Crossnore! Movie starts at sundown.
- Improv Show – Watch Winston-Salem’s local improv troupe, Foolish Mortals, perform at Camel City Playhouse! 7:30 PM
- Salem Bach Festival – Listen to classical music at various venues around Winston-Salem all weekend long! The best part? All performances are free to attend.
- Cocktail and a/movie – Date night idea. Sample spirits from Broad Branch Distillery and watch “Lost in Translation” at a/perture! 7:30 PM
- Stage Play – What happens when a retiring small-town doctor takes on an eager apprentice? Find out in Stained Glass Playhouse’s production of “The Old Faith, Hope, & Charity.” Runs through September 21.
- Decorating Challenge – Team up with your kid to decorate an alligator cake at The Canvas Cake Studio. 5 PM
- Laser Show – Watch a laser show set to the music of NSYNC and Backstreet Boys in Kaleideum’s Digital Dome. 8:45 PM
- Opening Reception – Meet Sawtooth’s four artists-in-residence and view their work in the new exhibit, “A Year in the Making.” 4-6 PM
Saturday, September 6
- Opening Day – Navigate the maze and explore 30+ activities at Alpha & Omega Corn Maze! Open on select days through mid-November.
- International Village Festival – Celebrate the various cultures in our city with global cuisine, cultural entertainment, and international craft shopping at Winston Square Park! 12-5 PM
- Fireweed Dinner – Join Chef Jordan from Native Root at West Salem Public House for a multi-course dinner cooked over an open flame! 6 PM
- Yoga with the Symphony – Unwind with a yoga class accompanied by music from the Winston-Salem Symphony at Reynolds Auditorium. Adult class at 11 AM, family class at 12:45 PM.
- Beer, Bourbon & BBQ – Enjoy BBQ, unlimited sampling of beer and bourbon, a carnival, and live music at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds. 12-6 PM
- Piedmont Pops – Listen to the Piedmont Wind Symphony play everything from iconic movie scores to Broadway showtunes at Incendiary Brewing in Lewisville! Free to attend. 6 PM
- Concert – Listen to the “Landslide – A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac” band perform at Shallowford Square while enjoying a bite from on-site food trucks! 7-9 PM
