• Free Concert – The Triad Community Band performs selections from John Williams’ iconic film scores and “The King and I” at Rural Hall Moravian Church. Bring canned/non-perishable items to donate to Crisis Control Ministries! 7 PM
• Family Fitness Night – Work out as a family at Sedge Garden Elementary School with Crazy Running! 6 PM
• Opening Reception – See NCMA Winston-Salem’s (formerly SECCA) newest art exhibition, Domestic Imaginaries, by Tyler Mitchell. 6 PM

Friday, September 13

• Movie Night – Watch Will Ferrell in Talladega Nights at MUSE Winston-Salem! Pre-movie activities start at 6:30 PM, movie starts at dark.
• Lyrics by the Lake – Head to NCMA Winston-Salem (formerly SECCA) for musical performances, spoken word poetry, comedy, live painting, and a vendor market. 6-9 PM
• Moonlight Madness 5K – Run at Bailey Park in support of United Way of Forsyth County! The races start in the evening, so wearing a headlamp is recommended. 7:20 PM
• Line Dancing – Join Chaos Crew Line Dancing for beginner lessons and open dancing at West Bend Bar! 6-8 PM
• Outdoor Concert – Coalpit Live’s final entry for 2024, Moon Taxi and Pauly Scott, performs at the Coal Pit. 6 PM
• Kids Movie – Bring the family to Shallowford Square for a screening of PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie! Concessions available for purchase. Movie starts at dark.
• Escape to Margaritaville – Kernersville Little Theatre performs Jimmy Buffet’s Escape to Margaritaville at Ciener Botanical Garden. Bring a lawn chair or blanket! Runs through Sunday.

• Dirty Dozen 5K – Run through mud, climb over obstacles, and support the YMCA’s health programs at this 5K/Fun Run at the Jerry Long Family YMCA. 7:30 AM
• Art Exhibition – In partnership with Jessica Ferris Property Advisors, local abstract expressionist painter A.K. Landreth features her latest works at The Reverie. 6-9 PM
• Fiesta Festival – Celebrate the start of Hispanic Heritage Month with Latin American food, live music, and family activities! Festivities take place in downtown Winston-Salem between Poplar St. and Marshall St. 11 AM – 7 PM
• Sips for Snips – Head to Incendiary Brewing (Winston-Salem location) with your furry friend for live music, dog treats, and raffle prizes! Proceeds benefit the Humane Solution Spay-Neuter Program. 4-7 PM
• Candlelight Concert – Experience the music of Adele at UNCSA’s Alex Ewing Performance Place under the glow of candlelight. 8:45 PM
