  • Wreath Workshop – Create a custom wreath at Maddie Cakes Bakery! 6 PM
  • Taste of the South – Enjoy Southern dishes made by local chefs, bid in a silent auction, and learn about Authoring Action’s key projects at the Generations Center. 6:30 PM

  • Annual Party – Celebrate the Piedmont Environmental Alliance’s achievements from the past year at Second Harvest Food Bank. 5:30 PM

Friday, November 15

  • Cheers! for Brenner Children’s Hospital – Get ready for an evening featuring delicious food, auctions, and a silent disco at the Millennium Center! All proceeds and donations support Atrium Health Levine Children’s Brenner Children’s Hospital. 7 PM
  • Big Book Sale – Discover thousands of books + audiobooks, CDs, and DVDs at Forsyth County Central Library! Runs through Sunday.
  • Art Crush – Head to the Arts District for a block party with live performances, art galleries, and local vendors & artists. 7-10 PM
  • Hockey Game – Cheer on the Carolina Thunderbirds as they take on the Monroe Moccasins at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Arena. Additional game on Saturday.
  • Friendsgiving Potluck – Join Bar NOLA for a family-friendly Friendsgiving potluck—don’t forget to bring a dish! 6 PM – Until

  • Concert – Local gospel and soul singer, Patty Perrin, performs with her band at Reynolds Place Theatre. 4 PM

  • Oyster Roast – Head to Second & Green Tavern for an oyster roast and live music from Jon Montgomery and Neon Union. 3-10 PM
  • Botanical DIY – Dye a silk scarf using botanicals and make a dried flower pumpkin at My Garden Blooms. 2 PM
  • ReptiDay – Find reptiles, amphibians, spiders, and exotic animals at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds! 10 AM – 4 PM
  • Latin Dance Night – Learn the salsa and enjoy a night of open dance at Boutique Wines. 9 PM – 1 AM
  • Mixxer Mixer – Meet with fellow makers and bring your current project + favorite dish to share at Mixxer. 5-9 PM
  • Expansive Soundscapes – Listen to the Winston-Salem Symphony perform at Reynolds Auditorium. Second performance on Sunday.

 

Sunday, November 17

  • Howl-iday Festival – Find handmade items that both humans and dogs will love at Tucker’s Tap Yard! 12-5 PM
  • DIY Workshop – Paint holiday/winter-themed ceramic pieces at Little Brother Kernersville. 2 PM
  • Free Tour – Visit Reynolda “on the house” in celebration of Katherine Reynolds’ birthday. P.S. We heard there are cupcakes! 1:30-4:30 PM
  • Harvest Festival – Celebrate harvest time at Brouweij DuBois with a farmers market, vendor fair, and pumpkin pie eating contest! 12-8 PM
