Thursday, July 31
- The Lightning Thief – Watch the musical adaptation of Rick Riordan’s beloved book at Theatre Alliance! Runs through Saturday.
- Comedy Show – In need of a laugh? Taylor Miller and Travis Lincoln perform at Clemmons Social Bar! 7 PM
- Harry Potter Trivia – Head to Wine & Design for themed trivia and painting projects. 8 PM
- Vinyl Lounge – Meet fellow music lovers at NCMA Winston-Salem! Bring your records and enjoy listening to analog sound together. 5-10 PM
- Collage Night – Make collages and form new friendships at Culture WS. Supplies provided. 6-10 PM
- Community Workshop – Join Bookmarks at Central Library to participate in an interactive workshop, “Mapping Prejudice in Forsyth County,” which examines the consequences of discriminatory housing practices. 11:30 AM
- Pop-Up Shop – Shop a selection of dried and fresh bouquets from Idella’s Garden at The Snob Shop! Onsite all day.
Friday, August 1
- Opening Reception – The Arts Council presents “Soft Impressions” at the Milton Rhodes Center, featuring the work of local artists who use gelatin plate printmaking. 5-7 PM
- Stage Play – Watch NC Black Rep perform the rolling world premiere of “Blooming in Dry Season” at Hanesbrands Theatre! Runs through August 10.
- Laser Show – Watch a laser show set to the music of Queen at Kaleideum. 1 PM
- Vintage Market – Shop for vintage clothing from 24 vendors at the Coal Pit! Rescheduled to Saturday, August 2, from 2-6 PM due to rain.
Saturday, August 2
- Studio Ghibli Festival – Join a/perture and the Vecino Center to celebrate Japanese culture with Studio Ghibli screenings and cultural activities! 3-9 PM
- Golf4Action – Compete in a two-person scramble at Winston Lake Golf Course. Proceeds support Authoring Action’s Just Us filmmaking program. 9 AM
- Back to School Bash – Celebrate the end of summer with live music, a Moana meet-and-greet, and food vendors at Childress Vineyards! 10 AM – 5 PM
- Chase the Dream 5K – Run in a glow-in-the-dark race at Bailey Park! Proceeds benefit the Dream Center. Races start at 8 PM.
- Summer on Fourth – Jam out to a performance by Envision in front of Foothills Brewpub. Concessions available. 7 PM
- Puzzle Contest – Assemble a team and race to complete a puzzle at The Playground! Winners will receive one $100 Playground gift card and tickets to a performance by Camel City Yacht Club. 2 PM
- Pups & Pilates – Join Club Pilates at Forsyth Humane Society for a fitness class surrounded by adoptable dogs. 3 PM
- Animation Club – Take your teen to NCMA Winston-Salem to watch/discuss animated films and shows, explore art styles, and connect with fellow animation-loving teens! 2 PM
- Singles on Segways – Meet fellow singles while touring Winston-Salem! Starts at Triad ECO Adventures. 9:30 AM
- Don’t Tell Comedy – We’d love to tell you more about this show, but it’s a secret. What we can say is that Don’t Tell Comedy keeps both the lineup and the venue under wraps (you’ll find out where to go the morning of the show). 8 PM
- Taste of History – Discover the fascinating art and architecture of Körner’s Folly with a tour led by Salem College’s art history professor. 10 AM
Sunday, August 3
- Food Truck Festival – Check out 20+ food trucks at Burke Street! 3-8 PM
- Supper Club – Join Camel City Supper Club at Joymongers Barrel Hall to share a meal with new friends. Don’t forget to bring a dish—this month’s theme is build-your-own bowls! 6 PM
- Family First Workshop – Take the kids to the Reynolda House Museum to make one-of-a-kind stationery and swim in Reynolda’s 1930s-era pool. 2 PM
- Cocktail Class – Learn to craft spicy margaritas (and try a couple) at easytalk! Classes at 2 PM and 4 PM.
- Sounds of Support – Head to Tanglewood Pizza Company for delicious pizza and three live music groups! A portion of proceeds benefits recovery efforts in Western North Carolina. 3-8:30 PM
- Adoption Event – Visit Tucker’s Tap Yard to meet adoptable dogs! 1-4 PM
