Thursday, February 5

  • Terrarium DIY – Join Sophisticated Florals to create a Valentine’s-themed terrarium! 6 PM
  • Vocal Performance – Grammy Award-winning singer J’Nai Bridges performs at Wake Forest University! 7:30 PM
  • Face to Face Trivia – Join Radar Brewing for trivia inspired by upcoming Face to Face guest Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster — you could win free tickets to the speaker event! 7 PM
  • Paint & Craft – Create a mixed media project using paint and paper at The Open Studio. 6 PM

 

Friday, February 6

  • Murder Mystery – We’re just dying to attend this event. Solve this hilarious Valentine’s interactive murder mystery at Incendiary Brewing Lewisville! 7 PM
  • Hockey Tournament – The ACC Hockey Championship Tournament is coming to the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds! Games held February 6-8 and 12-15.
  • Comedy Night – Get ready for a night of laughter as two comedians take the stage at Old Homeplace Vineyards! 7:30 PM
  • Disney Trivia – Create a magical Disney-themed painting and compete in trivia at Wine & Design! 7 PM
  • Rom Com Play – Time capsules, killer bees, and a little chaos — catch “Love at the Kernersville Bee Festival” at Stained Glass Playhouse! Runs through February 22.
  • Kuya Bear Block Party – Head to Cobblestone Farmers Market for food trucks, drinks from Fiddlin’ Fish, and a 3-mile run with The Run Club. 4-8 PM

 

Saturday, February 7

  • 48 Miles of HOPERescheduled from January 24. Run at Kimberly Park to raise funds for H.O.P.E. of Winston-Salem, a nonprofit addressing children’s health and food insecurity issues! First race starts at 7 AM. UPDATE: Due to icy and snowy conditions at Kimberley Park and in the surrounding community, 48 Miles for HOPE will be a virtual event for all runners.
  • Mahjong Workshop – Rescheduled from January 31. Take 101 and 102 classes with Camel City Mahjong at Footnote Coffee. Lunch included! 10 AM – 2 PM
  • IPA Fest – Gather your friends and head to Wise Man Brewing for 13 guest IPA taps and a Duke vs. UNC watch party! 12 PM – 12 AM
  • My Voice, My Story – Kids discover the power of storytelling through storytime and interactive workshops at the Milton Rhodes Center, hosted by Jack and Jill of America. Free to attend. 10 AM
  • African-American Festival of Arts and Culture – Celebrate Black History Month at the Generations Center with art, live performances, and locally made short films! 11 AM – 5 PM
  • Art in the Park – Join NCMA WS for a family-friendly art-making experience at Miller Park Community Center! 10 AM – 1 PM
  • Line Dancing – Take a free class with Jackie Philips at Breathe Cocktail Lounge, followed by open dance! 8 PM
  • Mardi Gras – Celebrate Mardi Gras with free king cake, beads, jambalaya, and live music at Bar Nola, our local New Orleans-themed bar! All day.
  • Victorian Valentine – Craft vintage-style valentines at the Historic Nissen House. Sessions at 11 AM, 12 PM, and 1 PM.
  • A Red Affair – Dress in your finest red attire and get ready to dance at The Hawthorne Inn! Ages 30+ preferred. 8 PM

 

Sunday, February 8

  • Farmers Market – Rescheduled from February 1. Shop from 20+ local vendors selling fresh produce, baked goods, soups, and more on Trade Street! 10 AM – 1 PM
  • Cocktail Class – Try various equal parts cocktails, then learn to make your own at easytalk! Sessions at 2 PM and 4 PM.
  • Artisan Market – Find the perfect handmade gift for your valentine at Foothills Tasting Room! 1-6 PM
  • Super Bowl Watch Parties
