July 4th Festivities

Looking for the perfect way to celebrate Independence Day in Winston-Salem and its surrounding towns? Look no further! We’ve rounded up the top spots to help you make the most out of your July 4th festivities. Take a look at some local festivities with fireworks, live music, and more!

Saturday, July 1

  • Rock out the Quarry – Come out to the Quarry at Grant Park for live music from several bands, food trucks, and a spectacular fireworks show. 7-10 PM
  • 70’s Kids in Concert – Kids in America will play some of the biggest hits from the 70’s in Shallowford Square, with a special Independence Day Tribute from American Legion Post 522. 7-9 PM
  • SECCA Stars & Stripes – A patriotic-themed outdoor concert with the North Carolina Brass Band at SECCA. 5-8 PM
  • Independence Day Race – Run or walk in The Rotary Club of Kernersville’s annual Independence Day 5k. 8 AM
  • Davie County’s Independence Day Celebration – Enjoy live music from multiple bands, food trucks, and a grand fireworks display. 6-10 PM
  • Yadkinville Fireworks – Fourth of July parade, fireworks, live music, and food trucks in Yadkinville. 5 PM
  • Miss Mary’s Children’s Parade – A patriotic experience and parade for kids with live music, sweet treats, and more festivities in Kernersville. 9:30 AM

 

Sunday, July 2

  • Bowman Gray Baseball – The Carolina Disco Turkeys will play the first-ever baseball games at Bowman Gray Stadium, with live music, special merchandise, themed beers, concessions, and more! Also available July 3 & 4.
  • Patriotic Extravaganza – A fun-filled program of patriotic tunes featuring the Reuter Organ at Ardmore Baptist Church. 7 PM
  • 4th of July Painting Pop-Up – Enjoy food and drinks as you paint a 4th of July-themed wooden sign at Wise Man Brewing. 1-3 PM
  • Star Spangled Spectacular – The Piedmont Wind Symphony will play a special patriotic concert featuring live vocals at Incendiary Brewing. 7:30 PM

 

Monday, July 3

  • Bolt, White, & Blue – Live music, food, drinks, corn hole tournament, kids’ zone, fireworks, and more in a stadium party at Truist Stadium. All day

 

Tuesday, July 4

  • Salem Band’s Stars & Stripes Concert – Food vendors, sing-alongs, marches, and more at Salem Band’s patriotic-themed outdoor concert. 7:30 PM
  • Winston-Salem Dash Baseball – Watch the Dash play the Hickory Crawdads in a 4th of July-themed game and enjoy a post-game fireworks show. 7 PM
  • The Dryes – 4th of July celebration at Old Nick Williams with food trucks and a performance by The Dryes. 7 PM
  • Rooftop Party – Celebrate at ROAR’s rooftop (Mayfair Club) with drink and food specials and a 360 view of fireworks happening around town. 6 PM
  • Hot Dog Contest – July 4th at Earl’s with drink specials and a hot dog eating contest. 1-5 PM
  • Kernersville Parade – A 4th of July Parade beginning at Kernersville Elementary School. 9 AM
  • Fireworks & Concert – A patriotic concert at the Kernersville Raiders’ football field, followed by a spectacular fireworks show. 6 PM
