LOCATION | West End
From their mix of woods, leather booths, and an assortment of vintage books, you will experience a warm and old-school charm. Enjoy sitting by the window, in large booths that you can reserve, or the 70’s room in the back! They also have an upstairs that has even more seating as well as a separate bar. All of their cocktails are exceptional but some recommendations are the Gin Ricky, Blood and Bourbon, and Bees Knees.
Tates:
LOCATION | Downtown
You can find Tates right on 4th street downtown. The atmosphere of this place will have you returning every week. Enjoy live Jazz every Tuesday. One other thing to love about this place is that the menu features pictures of the drinks too, so you know exactly what you are ordering. We recommend the Blackbird Julep, Surfer on Acid, or Raspberry Fizz, but you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu!
Vintage Sofa Bar:
LOCATION | Burke St.
Head to Vintage Sofa Bar for a cozy inside full of various… you guessed it… sofas. They also have outdoor seating around a firepit and offer a variety of specials during the week: $5 Sangria and $5 drafts on Tuesdays, $8 classic cocktails and $6 well cocktails on Wednesdays, ½ off rosé and sparkling wine on Thursdays, $5 house wines, and $5 Old Fashions on Fridays, and half off all wine bottles on Sundays. We recommend the Raspberry Bramble, Spicy Margarita, and Amaretto Sour.
Fair Witness:

Right in Bailey Park, Fair Witness is a wonderful spot to grab a cocktail. They have a great (but small) outside space as well as indoor seating. We highly recommend the Makgeoli Fizz. They are constantly adding new cocktails to their menu and changing it up. Afterward, end your evening next door with some ice cream from Lill Dipper!
Easy Talk Coffee & Cocktails
LOCATION | Downtown
Easy Talk offers a cocktail experience like no other. There are two ordering concepts: easy and talk. If you choose “easy,” you’ll order from a short, pre-selected menu of craft coffees and cocktails. However, if you choose “talk,” you’ll have a one-on-one conversation with the bartender, who will then make you a custom drink based on your current mood.
Theodore’s
LOCATION | Reynolda Village
Theodore’s is a bar and market located at Reynolda Village. You can expect top-quality cocktails, food, and local goods. Enjoy a cozy, bright and intimate atmosphere, much like their sister restaurant, Dough Joes. Enjoy a glass of wine, a cocktail or a beer inside or on their patio. Popular cocktails include Lavender Bees Knees and whatever is on their seasonal menu.
Breathe Cocktail Lounge:

Breathe Cocktail Lounge is located in Kernersville. They feature cocktails, draught, and bottled beers, small plates, and live music. The atmosphere is bright, elegant, and cozy! We recommend their Petal Pusher, Rose Blush, and Eat Peach drinks. They also have a whiskey bar and lounge. Breathe Cocktail Lounge is membership-based, but membership for a whole year is only $5.

Coffee shop by day, and signature cocktails, wine, and craft beer by night! Footnote is a cozy place with twinkle lights, local art, and comfy seats. Try Irish Caribbean cold brew and the Ole Razzle Dazzle. If you love coffee, be sure to order their Espresso Martinis that are made with their own beans!

The Trophy Room is an elevated whiskey experience. From straight pours to whiskey flights to craft cocktails, they have it all! You will feel like you are in a speakeasy as soon as you walk in! Try their smokes old-fashioned – they literally smoke it right in front of you!
The Katharine:

The Katharine is a fantastic spot to grab a meal, but you can also just stop in and grab a cocktail. We recommend sitting on their patio or at the bar and ordering The Felicity or Hair Toss (Check My Nails) and an appetizer.

A New Orleans-themed themed bar in West End offers specialty cocktails, wine, and beer. Some of their specialty cocktails include Swamp Water which and The Hurricane. Bar NOLA has games, a dartboard, and plenty of seating inside their beautiful bar.
Bar La Ch.ngada
LOCATION | Downtown
This bar serves fresh and eclectic cocktails inspired by Mexican culture. Popular cocktails include Sueña and Hacienda Guadalupe. Enjoy specials throughout the week like $2 off everything on Tuesdays and ½ priced Paloma pitchers on Thursdays.

Bar Pina is one of TWO rooftop bars in Winston-Salem. We recommend going around sunset so you can admire the beautiful skyline while sipping on a cocktail. Bar Piña offers elevated and handcrafted cocktails, leaning towards the tropical side.
