The Robin Hood Festival

The Robin Hood Festival
October 17, 11am – 9pm

The Robin Hood Festival is a one-day event bringing together the Sherwood Forest/Robin Hood neighborhood, as well as the greater Winston-Salem community. With live music, great food, craft vendors, storytelling, square dancing, medieval martial arts (archery, sword fighting, axe throwing), magic, theater, improv, activities for children, and much more, the festival will help raise funds for local charities while providing a fun, family-friendly experience for its participants. Admission and parking are free and all proceeds from the event support HOPE of Winston-Salem and CareNet Counseling.

Presented by Parkway Presbyterian Church, the enduring legend of Robin Hood will come to life, reminding us to care for the most vulnerable members of our community, not by robbing the rich to give to the poor, but inviting all to contribute to bringing life and hope where they are needed.
