JOB DESCRIPTION

This is an in-person hospitality role, based on site 5 days a week.
Candidates must live within an easy commute of Winston-Salem.

As the manager of your own location, the successful Community Manager possesses the business sense to organize a broad variety of tasks and details to ensure smooth operations. You enjoy getting your hands dirty and can pivot quickly to giving a world-class tour of the space to a potential member while ascertaining their needs in order to secure their membership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Community Building:
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive community environment that encourages networking, collaboration, and social interaction among members.
- Plan & execute events, workshops, and networking opportunities to bring members and prospects together, promote engagement, and enhance their overall coworking experience.
Member Relations:
- Build strong, positive relationships with all members, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Conduct regular check-ins with members to gather feedback, understand their evolving requirements, and maintain high satisfaction levels.
Facility Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the coworking space, ensuring that all amenities and facilities are well-maintained, and the kitchen, meeting rooms, and workspaces are clean, organized, and inviting.
- Coordinate with maintenance and administrative staff to address any facility, security, parking issues or improvements in a timely manner.
Sales and Marketing:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to attract new members, promoting the benefits of our coworking space and organizing tours for potential clients.
- Capture in the moment opportunities for social media posts and coordinate with team members on regularly scheduled brand posts and newsletter content.
- Manage CRM software to provide on-time follow-up with potential members
- Employ established member retention strategies and work on growing our community.
Administrative Tasks:
- Handle administrative tasks, including membership sign-up management, invoicing, and maintaining member databases.
- Manage access control, security, and mail/package handling.
Community Outreach:
- Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and the broader community to create partnerships, drive referrals, and enhance the coworking ecosystem.
- Attend monthly entrepreneurship ecosystem partner meetings to coordinate entrepreneurship related events and maintain collaborative program planning.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Track and report key metrics (Monthly KPIs) related to occupancy, member engagement, and financial performance.
- Utilize data and feedback to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business management, hospitality, or related field.
- Proven experience in community management, customer service, or a related role.
- Exceptional professionalism in all environments with members, coworkers, team members and leadership.
- Exceptional and professional communication skills with people from a wide variety of occupations and professional levels.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Enthusiastic and creative mindset with a passion for fostering community.
- Proficiency in coworking software and tools (e.g., coworking management platforms, CRM systems).
- A keen understanding of the needs and expectations of professionals and entrepreneurs in a shared workspace environment.
